365 days, 365 voices

By Drew Wehrle

The3six5 is an interesting experiment in storytelling launched by digital strategist and blogger Len Kendall.  To document the 2010, Kendall is inviting 365 different people in the United States the opportunity to join in on what you might call a collaborative diary.  Each author will be assigned a unique date, with instructions to write a 250-word “reflection” on what’s happening in the world that day and how it relates to them.

At the end of the year, Kendall writes, “we will have a snapshot of the entire year, told from the perspective of 365 individual voices.”  He also has hopes to turn this crowdsourced journal into a book.

Instructions on how to get involved are over at the project site as well as Kendall’s blog.
