With the highly anticipated third season “Mad Men” underway here in the States, there’s a slew of sites, stories and blogs to feed your appetite for the critically acclaimed drama.  Quick word of warning: Some of these may contain spoilers.

Interview magazine’s Culture blog discusses the legacy of Leo Burnett, and how his maxim to find a product’s “inherent drama” found its way into the show.

Fast Company has an irreverent slideshow of the series characters and their suggested real life counterparts.

Meanwhile, Flavorwire has a collection of muppet counterparts.  (Strange but true: “Sesame Street” will parody the show in its next season.)

The Brokelyn blog’s got a rather terrifying look at some of the cuisine from the era.
