Love The Economist’s new “thinking space initiative.” Giving people a peek into where some serious thinkers do their stuff is a nice way for the highbrow pub to further own the notion of “thought.”
The microsite offers a glimpse of the “thinking spaces” used by a collection of brainy sorts, including students, CEOs and musicians. It includes the items they surround themselves with, playlists of favorite tunes and links to their top sites and blogs. Users are also invited to collaborate by submitting their own “thinking spaces.”
The interface and music make it a kind of zen-like experience, and it’s easy to be drawn into the unique worlds of these interesting minds.
